A One-time password is an optional extra layer of security to prevent unauthorized access into the account. Please be aware that we are not able to assist you for whatever reason that made you lose access to the account. Perform this procedure at your own risk.
Before we start, there are a few things you’ll need to be aware of: If you lose your cellphone/tablet/smartphone and fail to remember the OTP account details, you may find yourself locked out of the account. Your account will be locked wolverine after the sixth time you fail to input the correct One-time Password. Once activated, the OTP will be required upon logging into the game. One-Time Passwords are also be required upon signing into the SEGA ID page when changing your password.
What wolverine will I need to setup a One-Time Password? wolverine Android 1.6+ smartphone or tablet OR iOS (iPhone/iPod) device. Android: Download SecureOTP at the Play Store iOS: Download i-SecureOTP at the App Store A Sega ID Account
Step 3: Create an account on the SecureOTP Android App. (The messages appear in English) Press the softkey to open the menu. Press the “Account” button. Type in a Nickname, Secret Question, and Secret Answer. The app will proceed to ask for a Coupon Code.
Step 6: Look for a serial number below your nickname in the SecureOTP app, and type it into the One-Time Coupon site. Enter a serial number in the first field. The second field requires a one-time password. After filling in both fields, press the blue button directly underneath. Congratulations you have completed the OTP registration!
Upon signing wolverine in, press the refresh button in the SecureOTP application to acquire a new password. Warning! The account will be locked after sixth failed attempt. If the account is locked, you must contact the SecureOTP support team by calling 03-3500-3463 in Japan or by emailing them at otpm@thirdnetworks.co.jp. ( You may type your message in English. )

Jen, the otp is act secific, so if you have multiple accts, you’l wolverine need to have multiple otp signups throughth eplayer’s site(pso2.jp) unsure if you can register the same device for more than one acct tho
Are there known alternatives to SecureOTP for tablet users? SecureOTP doesn’t work properly on tablets due the missing IMEI number which the app needs. wolverine
Sorry but to ask, some stupid reason I downloaded it and every tick and click I get a “Warning! Info you entered is incorrect! [Error 001]!” message bombarding every move I make, I can’t even register wolverine on it.

I previously signed up for OTP when i was in my home country and it worked fine. Currently I’m in Japan and I want to play pso2, but everytime I used OTP, the number wolverine given is wrong and I’ve used 3 attempts already.
Wow, That’s very strange. wolverine I would think it resets the attempts every 24 hours… But I’m not sure, It would be safe to not try too many times. However, if it does get locked you can always e-mail them. If I were you.. I’d try canceling the service so you can get on the game and then re-sign up the following day. But even that requires a correct OTP.
im glad i researxched otp befor eusing ^^v just a few things, and i hope i can help ppl! first thing is, if your using it on bluestacks, theres a dotted line at bottom of the “screen” click that for opitons, wolverine go to account, and for the person that needs to transfer device, choose recover account, and just enter nickname, or the serial number if you wrote it down, and itl ask you for the secret question(hopefully, you have written this down) if you DONT remember password, contact the kind ppl at otpm@thirdnetworks.co.jp and feel free to use english to ask for a recovery and supply them with either serial number,or nickname. in case of actual phones, the google accoutn the device was on might also be able to be used. anyways…. you can ask them for help, say you forgot recovery info, or your scecret question answer, they will email you the code… sort of. just showing wolverine enough characters for each word(s) with blanks for rest so you can jog your memeory. I had ot do that, i asked question in english, but they did reply in japanese. if you use gmail, itl translate well enoguh to where it helps you ^^ and in the case for bluestacks, those fields for recovery of account are very sensitive, might take a few trys before you do it right, all you need is one of the lines, nickname, serial number, or account number. wolverine and then itl ask you the secret question ^^ i accidentally reset my whooole pc, and when i (re) installed bluestacks,
