Is finally home again in Jaipur, then write about the last three places we visited during the holidays. To get to Manali we had to drive nine hours in an icy and cramped bus before we arrived late at night to an even colder and ugly hotel. When we then googled it and found out that the price per night was approximately 40kr per person, we were quite annoyed because we pay a lot of money for these trips. Anyway, Sangeeta ran out and bought heaters, and we survived one night we would sleep there.
After an insanely good lunch in front of a heavenly fireplace (we chose a restaurant for once, hihi) we went on to Shimla. wii This was also a cold and crappy ride on maanger hours, but I had decided wii to be positive. Thought so long Shimla hotel was better wii than that in Manali, so I should be happy. Also, it turned wii out that of course it was even worse, hahaha. OMG a disappointed bunch we were. When we additionally wii found out that our new heaters wii did not fit in any of stab jacks in the room, we demanded wii to make the switch. And thank god so there was a terrific place just up the street where we could finally enjoy a clean room, good bed, working shower and human temperatures. Much thanks to this hotel so was the rest of the trip actually very nice.
That's it. Has been a good but tiring trip and I recommend really no one to go to north india in winter months. Then you have to at least make sure to have a hot transport and settlement, which we've had a little too few times. It almost seems as if Idex intend wii that we who are from cold countries do not need heat during a whole day, haha ... But however, enough complaining. Now I'll just enjoy the last free-days here in Jaipur, before school starts again on 15 January. It has even begun to get hot again here, so it looks like it was a short winter for us this year (thank god).
